Parents Club of South Oakland is a great place for you and your children to make new friends. We are a group of local parents, providing support and fun activities for stay-at-home, part-time, and full-time working parents. Our members live in the southern part of Oakland County, Michigan.
Our group has changed and adapted over the past year to keep everyone safe from COVID. We are currently focused on safe, outside, socially distanced events.
Parents Club of South Oakland does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.
We plan daily activities during the week (Monday through Friday) with our children. This includes face-to-face local activities like meeting at parks or the Zoo. We take turns hosting in-home playdates and have parties for special occasions. We plan parents' night out/in activities and local community service projects. We offer online support, a book club, and much more! (When we feel it is safe as a group we will get back to indoor events and playdates.)
The most active members in our group will tell you that the MORE you give to this group, the MORE you will get out of it!
We ask that you attend two public playdates and chat with some members, to confirm the group is a good fit for you! After that we have a couple quick forms to fill out, and then you can be added to the private Facebook group and email list.
